Adam Oleńczak was born on February 26, 1986 in Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki. He started his guitar studies in the Studio of Music Education under the guidance of Professor Jerzy Worobiej. He continued his education in the Second–Grade Józef Elsner State School of Music in Warsaw in the guitar class under the supervision of Professor Marcin Siatkowski. He graduated in 2005 with an excellent mark. In 2010 he graduated The Frederic Chopin University of Music Department of Instrumental Pedagogy in Bialystok with a distinction in the guitar class of Professor Ryszard Bałauszko. Since 2010 he has been employed at the same university as a teacher of guitar and chamber music. In 2013 he started Master Performance at Hochschule Luzern - Musik under the supervision of Professor Andreas von Wangenheim.
He participated in numerous courses and master classes with famous guitar teachers and virtuosos such as Oscar Giglia (Italy), Maximo Diego Pujol (Argentina), Marcin Zalewski(Poland), Ricardo Jesus Gallen (Spain), Rolf Lislevand (Norway), Aniello Desiderio (Italy), Elena Papandreou (Greece), Marcin Dylla (Poland), Lukasz Kuropaczewski (Poland), Michał Nagy (Poland), Krzysztof Pełech (Poland), Ricardo Rubio (Brazil), Goran Krivokapic (Montenegro), Judicael Perroy (France), and also in the field of chamber music with Piotr Janowski, Kazimierz Michalik as well as Tomasz Strahl.
He has won numerous prizes at international guitar festivals and competitions such as:
1st Prize at the International Guitar Competition in Bath (England, 2006)
2nd Prize at the International Guitar Competition in Krynica (2008)
1st Prize and Grand Prix at the International Guitar Festival "Guitar Temptation" in Jarosław (2009)
3rd Prize at the International Guitar Competition in Olsztyn -duo with Radosław Bołtuć (2010)
3rd Prize at the International Guitar Competition in Gorizia (Italy) -duo with Radosław Bołtuć (2011).
Adam performs as a soloist and chamber musician. He is co-founder and soloist of the flamenco band ANDALUSION.
He has been performing with The Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic as a soloist from 2010.
